It has long been our dream to cruise the Caribbean Sea in our own boat. We searched for several years to find the boat that we felt would suit us and in July, 2010, we purchased a 1999 Bayliner 4788 Motor Yacht called “On the Hook”.
From the day we picked her up in Naples, Florida, and cruised her home to Manatee County, we have been “live-aboards”. We spent the first few days tied up at the Bradenton Yacht Club where we transferred all the “stuff” we wanted to take with us from our house, then moved her to the floating docks at Riviera Dunes Marina on the Manatee River.
