Routine Activities:

Dad and I go to YMCA gym several times a week. I volunteer at the North River Care Pregnancy Center weekly and attend their monthly board meeting. For church, I help in the office, sing in the choir and visit shut-ins. I am also a substitute Sunday School teacher and attend the monthly senior supper.

July special occasions:

Birthday wishes go out to: Melissa Cambre Frantz and her sister, Mary Alice Cambre Howard, along with both of Mary’s children, Savannah and Ethan.

This month:

When JP, Kellie and Emma returned from their vacation last week at Disney World, they all caught colds, and, no surprise – so did I. So, I spent most of the first week of July in bed resting and trying not to expose Dad. I did make hot dogs, baked beans and mac & cheese for the Fourth of July on Thursday.

From the 13th through the 21st, I was busy with Vacation Bible School and a very sore tooth.

On the 22nd, I had a root canal. I had lunch with Ken and Jackie Sosville at the yacht club Thursday afternoon and returned there on Saturday for a memorial service for Past Commodore, and friend, Mike Reeves. I taught my Sunday School class on the 28th, the second anniversary of Rick’s passing, because my Sunday School teacher’s sister, Linda Gay, was recuperating from recent surgery on her broken wrist. After church, Dad and Emma and I stopped by the cemetery to put a new arrangement at Rick’s memorial stone.

The rest of the week I spent getting ready for my annual trip to Compass Cay.
