We returned to the United States to celebrate birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas and other special occassions with family and friends.

On November 2nd , our granddaughter celebrated her 14th birthday; on November 14th , our son celebrated his 33rd birthday, and, on November 22nd, Rick celebrated his 63rd birthday as well as Thanksgiving.

At the end of November we helped our friends, Bill and Ruth celebrate their wedding anniversary.

Happy Birthday Rick

We had the opportunity to see many of our friends at the Taste of Manatee on the Riverwalk in Bradenton and at the November and December Power Fleet Dinners, the Great Mates Dinner Meeting and fashion show and the November Wine Tasting at the Bradenton Yacht Club.

In December, we enjoyed walking, talking eating and drinking with those at the annual Harbor Lights at the BYC and participating with our friends Ken and Jackie on their boat, “Snowman”, in the annual lighted boat parade. We are pleased that “Snowman” won first place in decorated boat less than 30 feet in length and also won the “Best Theme” award in the parade. The pictures show Rick and their daughter Renee on the front of the boat with Santa’s helper, Jackie, along with their niece and me on the back of the boat with the 6-foot blowup snowman.

While in the “States” we also spent some time in Ormond Beach with Rick’s Mother and brother; in the Ocala Forrest with my Dad and his friends and in Utah with Rick’s Sister, her husband and son.
